Youth: Seventh through Twelfth Grade

Being a teenager in today’s day and age isn’t easy. The desire to fit in, have the right clothes and know the right people continually pressure teens to live life according to worldly standards. That’s why teens need a place of escape, where they can be themselves, no strings attached. R.I.O.T . exists for just that reason--to reach in and out to teens. Through relevant fellowship, evangelism, discipleship, service and missions, our goal is to connect with teens in a way that’s life changing.

The Dish on R.I.O.T.: Sunday nights ~ 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ~ Church campus

Life Groups: Wednesday nights ~ 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. ~ Location varies

Missions Trips: Youth are encouraged to participate in missions trip opportunities available to them for participation bi-yearly. Missions trips take place nationally and internationally. Past experiences include inner city Chicago, Australia, Paraguay and Mississippi.

International Youth Convention: IYC is held every two years. The location for this event varies, but the goal is to give youth within the Church of God movement an opportunity to gather for several days of worship and biblical learning. Christian bands and vocal artists, as well as mainline speakers and authors bring to life this interactive, high energy conference that’s designed to minister to youth on topics relevant to issues they face daily.

Baptism : Baptism is available to all youth who have accepted Christ as their personal Savior. Teens are encouraged to speak with a pastor about this commitment. A baptismal class is required for all participating candidates.
