Seeking God

We live in a culture that convinces people that happiness is found through self gratification. If we buy enough stuff or receive enough promotions at work, then surely happiness will follow. When the results are loneliness and despair, we have difficulties understanding what went wrong.

Lifetree exists to help answer that one question. When all else seems to fail and hope is no longer present, there is still One person you can turn to—Jesus Christ. He is hope. He provides mercy and grace to those who choose to accept the gift of His sacrifice on the cross through salvation.

If you’ve wanted a personal relationship with Christ and were unsure of what to do next, please follow the steps outlined below:

Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Romans 10:9-11: “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and our saved. As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.’”

God’s ready for you to accept Him as your personal Savior. All you have to do is ask. A sample prayer is located below:

Dear Lord,

I come before you, recognizing that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I’m not perfect, but I understand that you can save me from my sins and transform my life. I ask that you forgive me for my sins and become the Lord of my life. I promise to live fully committed to You with Your help.

In Jesus name,

Amen.

John 1:12: “Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”
