Giving
As believers, we’re called to live as good stewards of our resources, tithing 10 percent of our income to the advancement of His Kingdom.
In the Bible we read in Malachi 3:10: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty and see if I will not throw open the flood gates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have enough room for it.” In 2 Corinthians 9:7 the Apostle Paul writes: “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
Giving creates opportunities for us to be a blessing to others through the ministry of the church, as well as experiencing the blessing of God in our own lives.
