Rev up your engines, hang on tight and get ready to enter the BLAST Zone. At the BLAST Zone, infants through sixth graders are exposed to age appropriate learning and interactive opportunities in a safe environment that encourages spiritual growth and learning. Our prayer is that all children who enter the BLAST Zone would come to know Jesus as their personal Savior and understand that learning about God should be fun.

BLAST Zone Mission: Our goal is to provide high quality children’s programs to meet the ever changing needs of families in Clinton and Lycoming counties.

The following programs are provided for infants through fifth graders, with tailored ministries to meet the ever changing needs of fifth and sixth graders.

Classroom Locations : Classroom locations continually change, due to the shift in the growth we are experiencing. That’s why children are escorted to their classroom upon signing in, based on age group. You can sign your children into one of two locations, depending on age. Check in areas are located at each classroom wing, off of the welcome center area. At Lifetree, regardless of your child’s classroom location, every parent can be assured of their child’s safety.

Child Dedication : Child dedication provides an opportunity for parents to publically dedicate their children to God. This simple act acknowledges the importance of the parents’ commitment to Jesus Christ and the positive influence of the church family during the child rearing years.

Child dedication is based on the biblical stories of Hannah dedicating her son, as described in 1 Samuel 1:21-28 and of Mary and Joseph dedicating Jesus, as told in Luke 2:21-40.

Parents participating in child dedication must attend a mandatory class for preparation of this exciting celebration. See news and announcements for more information.

Baptism : Baptism is available to all children who have accepted Christ as their personal Savior. While there is no set age for participation, we encourage children to be at least 10 years old. Parents and their children are also encouraged to speak with a pastor about this commitment. A baptismal class is required for all participating candidates.
